The Pub

The Heart of Oak is a Victorian pub with public bar and dining lounge. Originally built as a coaching house back in the 1800's, it has a beautiful wooden interior and thatched roof. Although the interior of the establishment has recently been renovated the pub retains much of its original splendour. We have a large sunny garden to the side of the pub, always busy in the summer months and an ideal spot to chat and enjoy good company in a relaxing atmosphere.

We regularly have live comedy and music events as well as showing live premier league, champions league and international football matches plus rugby, cricket and other major sports events.

Location

We are located on the outskirts of Exeter away from the hussle and bussle of the city center with excelent transport links and serviced by numerous bus services. We also have ample parking space for the designated driver.

Event Hosting

We also cater for special occasions, wedding receptions, Christenings, birthdays. Please contact us for Buffet receptions for your event.
